Week 8 - Studio Activities

I used two of the models I made in week 7 to use in this photoshop task.

I used a wooden floorboard texture as well as a plastered wall texture to use in this image. I also photoshopped in laptop to replace the paper one I had made, in order for this to look more realistic. It was difficult to photoshop a realistic background (nature) for this image as this model is a singular room and not a model of a complete house. This is why I used the textures that I did for this background.

I used carpet and plaster textures to mimic that of my actual room space. I also photoshopped a tree into the window as that is the view that is seen in real life. I got rid of some of the cardboard textures that could be seen on the edges of the desk to make the image more realistic.

I used a concrete wall texture for the outside of my model and also photoshopped a sky, grass and some trees and hedges into the background. I found it a little difficult to get the perspective right for the tree and hedge on the side of the building, but in the end, I don't think it looks too bad.
